Pearl Powder Recipes
For Internal & External Use

Pearl Powder masks should be applied to clean, dry skin and allowed to penetrate for about ten - 15 minutes, 5 minutes for very sensitive skin, however I have sensitive skin and 15 minuets works wonders for me. Lie down and elevate your feet to enjoy the full benefits of facial stimulation. Then wash off with warm water. Do this once or twice a week to help refine your complexion, less frequently for sensitive skin. The pearl powder mask will tingle and feel warm as it removes dead cells and rejuvinates.

Some people with sensitive skin say that Pearl Powder burns and the skin becomes pink. That is temporary. Thus use no more than 3 - 5 minuets the first time and then use accordingly.

Do a skin test first. Make a paste with water and apply a small amount behind your ear. Leave on for 5 - 10 minuets depending on your skin type, then rinse with warm water.

Before applying these facial masks, tie your hair up. Next, cup both hands and fill them with warm water. Spread the water evenly over your face and neck. Then gently massage your face. Repeat several times. Let your face air dry. Do not use a towel. Put Vitamin E (oil form) on your face leave for five minutes so the oil will absorb into your skin. Rinse and remove oil with jojoba oil, or a mild cleanser.

Pearl Powder Face Mask Recipes

Pearl Powder Egg Mask - For troubled, sensitive skin. Mix 1-2 teaspoon pearl powder with 1 egg white and warm water. Apply mixture to face and neck. Wash and cleanse after 15-20 minutes with tap water.

Honey and Egg Pearl Powder Mask - Mix one teaspoon of pure Chinese Pearl Powder with juice of 1 lemon, 1 beaten egg white, and 1 tsp raw honey which will nourish and moisturize aging skin. Or, mix 1 tsp pearl powder and extra virgin olive oil to make a paste which will revitalize dry, dull skin. Or, mix 1 tsp pearl powder with whole milk or cream to make a paste. This is also anti aging and will reduce large skin pores and remove acne. The skin may feel irritated or warm for a few minutes after removing the mask, so let your skin breathe for as long as possible before apply a moisturizer.

Use
Supreme Peptide Cream after masks, and apply Sarah's Pearl Crème to skin after gentle cleansing in the evening. Leave on overnight. Wash off in the morning. You will LOVE the results.

If you use pearl powder once or twice a week, you will see a beautiful change in your skin in a very short time.

If you spend time in the sun, mix 1 tsp pearl powder in an atomizer containing freshly brewed and strained green tea. Add a drop or two of witch hazel extract and keep the liquid in the refrigerator to preserve its freshness. This spray helps prevent sun damage because of the green tea’s high antioxidant content.

Natural Facial Mask Recipe - Add 1 egg white or a comparable amount of fresh pure aloe vera juice, 2 tsp olive oil, 1 tsp pure apple juice and 1 tsp pure Pearl Powder in bowl and mix. Dip both hands into your facial mask and apply to skin.

Note: The best method to apply is, start from your chin and apply up and outward making sure to skip the eyes and mouth area. For the nose area, apply the mask solution from the upper part of the nose to lower part following the nose line.

Now it is time to relax. Go ahead, lay down on your back with your face up. Cover your eyes with cucumber or wet cotton balls. Wait 15 minutes to 1/2 hour. Make sure the mask is entirely dry. Once the mask is dry, cup both hands to hold warm water, spread the water evenly over your face. Then gently massage your face. Repeat this several times. Let the air dry your face. Do not use a towel.

Pearl Powder and Aloe Juice Mask - This mask will enhance the skins elasticity, smooth skin texture and soothe skin after sun exposure. It's difficult to find a better natural moisturizer. Mix 1/8 tsp pearl powder and 2 tsp aloe juice in a cup. Apply mixture on your face and neck. When the mask is dry, apply a second layer. Wash off after 15-20 minutes with warm water. Aloe juice prevents sun damage and improves collagen, the skin's support structure.

Pearl Powder, White Tea & Aloe Mask - This mask is remarkable for skin whiting and radiation protection. Mix 1/4 tsp pearl powder, 2 tsp aloe, and enough white tea to make a paste in a cup. Apply mixture on your face and neck. Leave on for 15 minutes, wash off with warm water. Aloe prevents sun damage and improves collagen, White tea prevents wrinkles and improves skin elasticity

Pearl Powder and Banana Mask Recipes For Dry, Aging Skin - Banana is one of the most nourishing fruits available because it contains large quantities of magnesium, potassium, iron, zinc, iodine, and vitamins A, B (folic acid), E, and F. Pearl Powder enhances skin elasticity and smoothes skin texture. Butter moistens and Green tea is naturally rich in antioxidants, which helps protect the body from free radicals - naturally occurring particles in the body associated with accelerated aging and an increased risk of major diseases.

Banana Facial Mask 1 - Mash a banana, then add 2 tbsp fresh cream, 2 tbsp strong tea, 2 tbsp Pearl Powder. Mix and apply to face and neck. Clean with fresh water after 10-20 minutes.

Banana Facial Mask 2 - Use back of a spoon and mash 1/2 very ripe banana. Add 2 tsp butter, 1/8 tsp pearl powder and 2 tsp green tea and mix together. Apply the mixture on your face and leave for 15-20 minutes. Wash off with warm water. Keeps for 7 hours in fridge.

Pearl Powder and Fruit Facial Mask for Oily and Problem Skin - Cleans and nourishes the skin. Provides acne control through skin anti-inflammatory and hormone balance.

Blend 1/4 Apple, 1/4 Cucumber and 1/4 Pear to a sauce-like mixture. Add 1/8 tsp flour and 1/8 tsp Pearl Powder, and mix. Apply mixture to your face for 15-20 minutes then wash off with warm water.

Pearl Power and Egg White Acne Mask - Pearl Powder is a great anti-inflammatory agent, which helps to relax and calm the skin. Egg white is composed of 83% water and 40 different types of protein. Mix 1/8 tsp pearl powder and 1 egg white in a cup. Apply mixture to skin for 15-20 minutes and wash off with warm water. Keeps for 1 week in fridge.

Milk and Honey Pearl Powder for Dark Spots, Freckles, Pigmentations, Melasma, etc. - Pearl Powder is used to promote cell renewal and regulate skin discoloration. Milk hydrates the skin and acts as milk exfoliate. Mix 1/2 tsp Pearl Powder in small bowl, then add a small amount of milk to make paste. Add some honey. Next, wash your face with warm water and apply mixture to face and neck. The places with pigmentations, dark spots, freckles, melasma etc, apply a little more and massage into those spots with your fingers. Wash the mask off after 15-20 minutes with warm water.

Use this method once or twice a week, but for dark spots, age spots, pigmentations, melasma etc., apply on spots every night before you retire.

Olive Oil And Pearl Powder Mask - For dry, dull, and aging skin. Mix pearl powder with enough olive oil to form a thin paste. Apply to clean, dry skin. Leave on for 15 minutes and rinse with warm water.

Pearl Powder Yogurt Facial Mask - Great for dry skin. Mix yogurt and pearl powder in a small bowl to make a paste. Apply to the face and neck. Leave the mask on for 20-30 minutes, wash with warm water.

Removing dark spots, Age spots, Freckles:
Mix 1/8 tsp pearl powder with a vitamins E capsule and enough white vinegar to make paste, then apply mixture to face and neck for about 20 minutes, 2 or 3 times a week.

Mix 1/8 tsp Pearl Powder with honey or yogurt to make paste and apply to face and neck. It might feel warm. That’s ok but do not let it become uncomfortable. Wash off after 15 minuets for tough skin and 5 minutes for very sensitive skin. Pearl powder is an exfolient that removes the dead dried skin from the top layers of skin. It turns the skin pink when mixed with honey and left on the skin for 15 min.

For Troubled Skin and Pimples - Cleanse skin first. Mix 1/2 tsp Pearl Powder with milk to make paste. Apply the mixture on the troubled spots twice a day and on your entire face two or three times a week.

For Oily Skin with Blemish Problems - Blend 1/4 apple, 1/4 pear and 1/4 cucumber to form a sauce-like mixture, add 1/8 tsp pearl powder and 1/8 tsp flour and mix well.

Body Facial - Applied on the entire body, improves blood circulation, cleanses the skin, detoxifies and purifies, infuses with minerals and helps restore saggy, loose skin. Add 4 Tbsp Pearl Powder to 4 Tbsp warm water, mix well. Apply to the surface of the body, including face and feet. Leave for 20 minuets. Fill bath tub half way full with warm water. Add 2 Tbsp extra virgin olive oil. Soak for 10 minuets. Dry. For best results apply Sarah's Pearl Creme or a good, rich quality moisturizer. The result = healthy, silky, satiny, soft skin. You will feel as if you just returned from the spa. Good for all skin types.

You can enjoy a pearl bath by bathing yourself in warm water added with pearl powder. Your entire body will feel refreshed and energetic after taking the bath.

Finishing Powder - Pearl Powder makes a great primer/finishing powder and helps reduce pores, fine lines and wrinkles. After applying a moisturizing cream, put Pearl Powder directly on your skin and massage gently into your skin.

Mix pearl powder into your powder foundation, which helps the foundation stay on your skin as well nourishes and whitens your skin, or simply use it as a base before applying the foundation.

Pearl powder can also be used on its own. Apply it on your face before sleep and remove it the next day.

Recipes For Consumation

Chinese beauties from the past consumed a morning drink of pearl powder in hot water to keep their complexions beautiful.

Mix 1/8 to 1/4 teaspoon pearl powder into your favorite beverage and drink. Do this daily and you will notice your skin smoother, softer and more youthful looking.

Mix a little pearl powder into rice when cooking
Put a dab of Pearl Powder in yogurt.
Drink orange juice with a dash of pearl powder.
Put 1/8 to 1/4 teaspoon in water, stir. Then drink.

Add 1/8 to 1/4 teaspoon into a high quality milk powder, milk, condensed or oatmeal everyday.

Some Asian mothers give pearl powder to their children before bedtime for its additional calmative effects.

Consume 1/8 to 1/4 teaspoon per day after you bathe or excercise when blood circulation is best. Take the same amount at the same time daily to keep yourself young and beautiful.
